Afternoon Welcome to Midget HL #2 - Royal Blue Parents and Kids:
My name is Dennis Wilson and I will be the assistant coach this year to Head Coach Jim Ireland. The other coach on the team this year is Dave Johnstone.
It has been a flurry of activity lately and the weather has not been cooperating.
Here is what we know:
League starts:
- Our first game is Monday, May 15, 2017 in Oakridge at the Byron complex, #3.
- Game time is at 8:30 pm
Practice:
- Jim is going to try and get a practice setup before then, but Alexandra Park is not ready, or available on Saturday, May 13.
- We will keep you posted on how, when and where our first practice will be and it also depends on the weather.
- Our regular reoccurring practice, (once they start), will be on Saturday's, at 9:00 am at Alexandra Park.

Uniforms:
- Are backordered for most of the LDBA teams.
- We still have hope to have them arrive this upcoming weekend.
- Once we get them, we will let you know.
Metal Cleats:
- You can use metal cleats at Midget level.
Bats:
- All of the bats used at Midget level are wood, or wood comp.
Home Games:
- Wednesday's at 8:30 pm
- At Alexandra Park in Strathroy.
Division:
- We are in the Midget West division this year.
Teams include:
- Forest

- Oakridge #2
- London North
- North Middlesex, (Parkhill)
- Strathroy #1
- Strathroy #2
Sponsor:
- This year it is Shoppers Drug Mart in Strathroy.
Jocks:
- Are mandatory.
Year End Tournament:
- Starts on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 and runs until Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.

- Can always use a hand at practice.
