About Strathroy Minor Baseball (Strathroy Minor Baseball Association)

PrintAbout Strathroy Minor Baseball

Strathroy Minor Baseball league encompasses youth ages four to eighteen with everything from Blast Ball to Midget divisions.  The season starts in early May for competitive teams and in mid May for house league teams. Games are generally held from Monday to Friday at the three ball diamonds on York Street with the Midget Division playing at Royals Field in Alexandra Park.  The majority of the minor ball teams have made it to league play-offs in recent seasons.  Based on past successes, the competitive teams have a good chance to participate in the baseball Ontario Championships held on Labour Day weekend.  Catch all the hard hitting action at Baseball Day in July held at Royals field in Alexandra Park.

The Royals name was adopted from the original mainstay team in Strathroy in the 1940’s.  While other teams came and went the Royals were more long-lasting.  Don’t miss the modern Royals in their royal blue, grey, and white uniforms.
